We have an immediate need for information management and business analyst consultants in the New York area. Ideal candidates should have 5+ years of work experience in assisting organizations with addressing the management of their information assets as they relate to discovery, compliance, legal and business operations. Preferred candidates have extensive experience in at least one industry domain (i.e., financial services - broker-dealer / banking / insurance; health sciences - pharmaceutical / biotech / medical devices / healthcare, higher education) and have been through a number of project lifecycles. Experience in client service delivery and consulting methodologies is a must. Experience in three or more of the following areas is required: business requirements gathering, information gathering, data acquisition, information mapping, relational database design and optimization, rapid data analysis, new business development, project management, MS toolsets, information risk management, extensive use of business intelligence products, business case development, establishing and managing vendor relationships, developing and running workshops, training, workflow and process mapping, functional and technical specification development, and documentation creation. Preferred candidates have consulting experience, legal or regulatory experience, or relevant business experience. Candidates must also possess outstanding client facing skills, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and the flexibility to meet changing priorities.
A minimum of a BS/BA Degree or equivalent is required for these positions.
